From the Pastor's Study
We’re living in difficult times, and events on the world stage are disconcerting. In days like these, we need to be stronger husbands, stronger wives, and stronger people. We need stronger children, stronger families, stronger churches, and a stronger determination to tackle each day for good and for God. If you’re like me, you want stronger faith, stronger peace, stronger joy, and more stamina to do the work the Lord assigns each day.
God’s Word provides the strength you need, the strength I need, the strength we need. The Bible is packed with passages about inner strength, and His will is for us to be strengthened in our inner being through the riches of His grace. Ephesians 3:16 begins to share in the succeeding three verses for Christ to rule ad reign within, He is to take control by complete faith. His love and our love to others is given from within. Patience in tribulation bears these fruits to completeness. In verse 18 it tells us for a full understanding of spiritual things we are to know the love of Christ.
There are times that we will feel despair or even exasperated. We will feel there is no way whatever the circumstance is can have a solution. Verse 20 is the answer. We have faith in Him that is able to abundantly more than we even ask. What a Savior!
